03 PRESENTATION BOARD AND MODEL MAKING PROCESS

  • To improve the student's capacity for conceptual narrative creation and development.

  • To present and raise knowledge of the anthropometrics and ergonomics — the measurement requirements of the human body.

  • To investigate and utilize fundamental design concepts and vocabulary.

  • The ability to take both subjective and objective factors into account while designing a space in order to produce something both lyrical and useful.

  • To investigate the relationship between the sensory perception of space and the choice and use of materials.

  • The ability to choose and create various study models, including section, development, concept, and sketch models.

TAYLOR'S GRADUATE CAPABILITIES (TGC)

Discipline Specific Knowledge

"This project highlighted the importance of discipline-specific knowledge in applying theoretical ideas to real-world design. It tested the application of architectural theory and skill in concrete design aspects. This project demonstrated the ability to convert academic information into well-executed design solutions, underscoring the role of discipline-specific knowledge in architecture education."

Lifelong Learning

"It highlighted the constant evolution of architectural knowledge and the importance of lifelong learning in the evolving field of design, fostering intellectual engagement and shaping the ongoing educational journey."

Thinking and Problem-Solving skills

"The project challenged me to analyze complex design challenges, requiring a balance of analytical rigor and creative flair. It improved my problem-solving abilities, strategic approach, and creativity, highlighting the importance of these skills in the architectural design process."

Communication Skill

"I have improved my communication skills to ensure precision, resonance, and flexibility in  graphic presentations, and oral expressions. I realized the importance of clear communication in the architectural design process, highlighting the need for mode adaptation beyond design expertise."

Intrapersonal Skills

"This project sparked self-discovery, requiring careful reflection on design choices and learning from successes and setbacks. It enhanced personal growth, developed creative instincts, and improved tactics. This project also shaped the individual's identity in architectural design, enhancing interpersonal skills and personal growth."
