  • Identify concerns regarding daylighting and thermal comfort in double-storey terraced/semi-detached houses

  • Evaluate the existing state of daylight distribution and thermal comfort in double-storey terraced/semi-detached houses

  • Develop strategies to improve daylight and thermal comfort in double-storey terraced/semi-detached houses by integrating passive design principles

OUTCOME --------

  1. Choose 1 type of house; i) Corner lot of a double storey terraced house or ii) Double storey semi detached house

  2. Choose 1 space each that has issue on i) Daylighting and ii) Thermal Comfort & Conduct the data collection

  3. Get secondary data on Sun Path chart, Psychometric chart, and any relevant climatic data (Precipitations, temperature, etc.)

  4. Drawings; Location plan, Floor plans, Elevation (2nos), Section (1no.) – to be in appropriate scale

  5. Compile all information in 2 A2 size boards
